The Rose That Grew In The Dark

She poured tears

On the scars of

My open heart

Where roses once

Grew in the dark,

When the light shined

We fell apart as if

The sun contrived

Our souls to depart,

The moon ended up

Being our lost painting,

Our last piece of art,

We gave our last goodbyes

Under the sea of stars

To plant the rose

Beneath our scars
